Indian Village in Munich

Very polite and cool staff. Often spends something on the house.

Due to lockdown, we have ordered and had it delivered twice so far. Very large selection of dishes including vegan dishes and children's dishes (milder seasoned). The order taking on the phone was very professional, the waiter also gives recommendations and is very friendly. The announced delivery time was both times +/- 5 minutes. The food delivered was well packaged and was still very hot on arrival. In terms of taste, the food is very good, but the dishes that have been awarded "spicy" are really very spicy. The portion size is definitely sufficient and you get full. As soon as the catering is open again, we will definitely eat in the restaurant. Until then, it will remain our favorite restaurant to order in the "Corona time".

So far the best Indian restaurant I have been to. In Munich and rest of Europe I was in several restaurants. No any has reached the level of Indian village I'm missing the Sunday buffet

Unfriendly staff. Average food. Didn’t even have the special daal makhani ? I just wanted to go there today but then I realised that this place is not so friendly. Hahaha. And now I am heading to another restaurant.

According to the Internet, the Indian Village is open for lunch until 2:30 p.m. I was there for the first time at 1:53 p.m. On recommendation. The waiter informed me that I would get nothing more to eat, at most to take away if I knew what I wanted. Several tables were occupied in the restaurant. I stood outside in the cold and waited. The boss could not be spoken to. The take away vegetable korma consisted of a large serving of rice and a large serving of sauce with very, very few vegetables. The sauce appeared to be sugared. There was a small dessert on top. Price 6.90 euros. No discount for take away.

Very delicious food. But restaurant staff has to improve the the way of treating the visitors.

For those who want to be absorbed by Indian atmosphere and just enjoy the food and to find yourself in India then this place is for you! So,we ordered the real level of spice for all our dishes- they were incredible! Enjoyed our evening, food and the service!!! Highly recommended especially for those who love real flavor of Indian food.

Attractive restaurant and very friendly staff. The menu is generous. Selection from sweet to spicy - there is something for everyone. Food tastes fantastic. We'd love to come back.

Unfriendly and aggnorant waiters.

Waiter was very aggressive and not nice. Hi told us that we have to order not only soup but also some second dish. Because this is restaurant and thay want to spent there time for such client whose occupied space and don't order many stuff. But in really it was only few places occupied. We wanted to left the place. The food itself was good but portions of soup were to small.

Very friendly greeting as soon as you enter. Very good service, also in English. Food is very good, but you have to like coriander, as this is included in many dishes;) Nice decor and atmosphere. I can only recommend it!

First class Indian restaurant. The service was very friendly and courteous. Special requests were met without hesitation and promptly. The taste of the food is hard to beat. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, you are definitely at the right place. In short: highly recommended!

Very bad service, internet says 2.30pm, we arrived at 1.45pm ,they just send us away because they are closing at 2pm. I do not recommend

We really loved the food. There was nothing to complain about :) The waiter was friendly too. Would likely visit again. Just a personal suggestion: would love if you played soft Indian 80s song and not loud modern Bollywood music.

I visited 2 times n food was very tasty like typical Indian food n staffs r too good n friendly. I recommend this restaurant. Had a great time.

We were here in June and they served great vegetarian food, brilliant ambiance and kind, warming staff... its one of the best Indian restaurants outside India.. I would definitely go back when in Munich... all the best Indian village , don't let go of your chefs ;)
